I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. ~Romans 12:1
Worship is about more than singing. Worship is a lifestyle of joyful dependence on God, an overflow of thanksgiving and service rooted in a deep understanding and appreciation of who God is and what He has done.

Worship, then, is not just something that happens on Sunday mornings. As C.E.B. Cranfield put it, "Worship which is consonant with the truth of the gospel is indeed nothing less than the offering of one’s whole self in the course of one’s concrete living, in one's inward thoughts, feelings and aspiration, but also in one's words and deeds."
Scripture and a Lifestyle of Worship
What does Scripture say about the 24/7 nature of biblical worship?
Psalm 63:1-8- O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
Micah 6:8- And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Romans 12:1- I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.
1 Corinthians 10:31- So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Colossians 3:17- And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18- Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 13:15-16- Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
